Embracing Uniqueness

Introducing Limited Edition Collections from The unique thread

Why Limited Editions?

Why settle for mass-produced clothing and homeware that millions of others also own?  As a celebration of individuality, I'm committing to producing only 1000 of each design in my collection. This means that only 999 other people in the world will ever have the opportunity to wear or adorn their homes with the same piece as you. Yes, it means more work for me. I'll be creating new designs more frequently than the average textile designer, but I relish the challenge.

When I first started fashion design school, the demands seemed insurmountable. Night after night, I had to produce new, illustrated designs, first in pencil, then in color. The quantity increased... 5, then 10, then 25, all with multiple views. It felt impossible, and the worry was a constant companion. Yet, I persevered. Not every design was a favorite, but there was always a subtle tweak that made them unique. It was a journey of evolution.

I thrive on challenges and pushing my limits. As this journey unfolds, I may even test a few designs that are unconventional, perhaps even questionable. Why? Because I firmly believe there are no bad designs, only perspectives that might not resonate with us personally.

This marks a new chapter for me, and I'm excited to see where it leads. I invite you to stick around and witness the evolution of my creations. Your support and feedback will shape this exciting venture, and together, we'll redefine the boundaries of style and individuality.
